Anyone With A Orbi 960 Series/iOS 16.1 Having A Working Anywhere Access?
As the title implies, does anyone have a working Anywhere Access with the 960 series? There is nothing left to do on my end. I have the LATEST Orbi firmware and the LATEST iOS update. I talked to CS who did acknowledge a problem with Anywhere Access but then wanted me to do things that already been done many times.

I have mine in AP mode that's connected to a different router and I think Orbi app doesn't support this configuration. Last time I had the 9 series as my primary system, I was able to connect remotely.
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

From what I understand the anywhere access worked a few updates back on the app. The modem is a Hitron 3.1 with a 2.5 output. Spectrum is the provider for the 1.2G service. The computer is a iMac 2020 with a 10G network card. I have been around long enough to know none of this has anything to do with why anywhere access fails to work.

Alas, no 960 or iOS here, but a question: My Orbi app connects in two ways:
- When connected to the Orbi LAN, which the app titles "Connected Locally", and
- Through the Netgear Cloud, which Anywhere Access because the device running the Orbi app can be "Anywhere" that has an internet connection. In my experience, Anywhere Access must be enabled by the user when the app is connected locally.
Does this iOS device connect to the 960 router when on the Orbi LAN?

Yes, it connects to the IPhone 14 pro max “ Local connected” perfectly to the app. Everything from the app to the dashboard works perfectly. It just the Access Anywhere feature will not enable. (Sorry, something went wrong, try again.)
This is SO screwed. Until someone who has a 960 system responds with "yes, Anywhere Access works for me" (or the opposite), I see only two options:
- Shake the hell out of the iPhone and "Report a Bug".
- If you still have some of that famous 90 days of "complimentary support", call Netgear again and ask for more specifics about "what's wrong with Anywhere Access?" i.e. this is not the "Logon timed out" issue on the Android app that got fixed this week. Is this specific to the 960 product?
