Are Orbi IOS speedtest labels reversed?
I run a weekly speedtest using four apps. In three the download is ALWAYS higher than the upload speed. The Orbi app on my iPhone always shows an upload speed higher than download but the numbers a...

When the Orbi app runs a Speed Test, the test itself is performed on the Orbi router, not on the smartphone running the app. (Thus, the speed of the WiFi connection to the Orbi system, or whether the app is connected locally or using Anywhere Access has no effect on the results.) plemans comment on the test server is important. Unlike the Ookla Speed Test app (for most platforms: Windows, Mac, Android, etc.) which presents a list of Speed Test servers, the Orbi app does not offer a choice nor does it report which specific server was used for the test.
That is not to claim that the Orbi 'app' cannot possibly have a programming error. It would be interesting to compare the results of Speed Test
- Reported by the iOS Orbi app, against a Speed Test
- Performed using the Orbi web management interface.
Although Speed Tests run one after another never match exactly, they are often "pretty close". Who knows, you may have discovered an "oops".

Understood. rbpeirce is saying the app (and therefore the router) usually shows a higher upload speed than download. But other speed test clients (including Verizon's) do not.
FWIW, max speed for Verizon Fios "gigabit" service is 940 mbps download and 880 mbps upload. But Verizon says
- Average wired download speeds up to 750 - 940 Mbps
- Average wired upload speeds of 750 Mbps - 880 Mbps

All of rbpeirce's measurements appear to be in that range.
