I have an Orbi AX4200 RBR750 WiFi 6 router with two satellites, but I am unable to connect through Anywhere Access or locally. My Nighthawk CM2000 2.5Gb cable modem is connected to a Mediacom ISP 1Gb fiber line. I use Windows Defender across my iPhone, iPad, and PC, as well as the Windows Defender VPN on these devices. My PC runs Total Defense Internet Security Suite CE 25.4. I also use an iPhone 16 with iOS 26.0.1, accessing Anywhere Access remotely and Local access when on-site. The ORBI app version is 2.48.0.43. Oddly, the app shows that I am connected with a green dot under "Your Products" in Anywhere Access, but it then displays a message saying, "Device is Offline," which it is not. I am also unable to log in via Orbilogin.net or the IP address. My WiFi, ISP, and network are functioning fine, but I lack local or remote access to perform updates, reboot remotely, or check activity. Thanks in advance for any assistance in resolving or identifying the issue with connecting.24Views0likes5CommentsI have the app on my iPhone and it shows devices offline when they are online
I am having the same problem more than 3 years later with RBE871. What you suggest is not a solution. I have named all the devices and will not go back to square one. When is NETGEAR going to fix the problem. I’m having it with Windows 10 & 11 and with both Chrome & Edge browsers. I have the app on my iPhone and it shows devices offline when they are online. I’ve created a case #49279170. Once again, when is NETGEAR going to fix this problem.91Views0likes4CommentsOrbi App - device manager and remote access not working - iOS
I can only use the web interface. I have an orbi 870 and I cant use device manager or do remote access. The error is "Sorry your device list failed to load. Please try again later." I've done the power cycle, uninstall-reinstall app. Nothing works.Solved74Views0likes2CommentsORBI App Strange Message
I own an RBK853 ORBI system. Has been running fine for several years. Currently on V7.2.7.15_5.1.16 firmware. Had a power outage and rebooted my system yesterday. Went to use ORBI app on my iPhone this morning and got an odd message stating, "This Orbi is linked to a different account." My RBK853 system has been registered since 2023 and currently shows up in "My Registered Products". I get this page if I select "Fix This Issue". I'm not willing to do a factory reset just for ORBI app's sake. The web-based app is working fine. Any idea why this is happening? Are there any work-arounds? Thanks for your help!Solved153Views0likes13CommentsManaging devices
I just bought an orbi 770 plus one satellite. Setup was a breeze and the app installed on both my iPad and iPhone with zero problems so all in all I am quite pleased. There are, however, a couple of things that are confusing and I am hoping to get some clarity of from you guys. 1. We have a couple of iPads, one is showing up in the app as an apple iPad with a nice iPad icon. The other is showing as an iPad generic with a circle icon. 2. Both our iPhones are showing up the same way. What gives? The wifey’s iPad is an 11” iPad Pro and her phone is an iPhone 14 Pro Max. My iPad is an iPad Pro 13” and my phone is an iPhone 16 pro max. Hers are showing correctly mine are showing as the generic. the other irritation is I haven’t found a way to identify the devices in the list nor edit their descriptions unlike the Linksys this is replacing. I know which is which after I compared the MAC addresses but I would like to see Georges iPad and Gracie’s iPad so I know just by looking at the list. your thoughts and suggestions are appreciated. Cheers, RDJ44Views0likes4CommentsOrbi rbr40 not connecting with modem
Hello, I’m hoping someone can help me. I have an Orbi rbr40 router with two satellites. Motorola modem. I unplugged the router and modem four days ago to move something. Plugged back in a few hours later. The router appeared as it was loading- slow white blinking light. Then turned solid purple. I tried unplugging and syncing a few times. Called Orbi, not sure if it was really Orbi. I called three different times, in sum they are saying there is malware. They said when I unplugged and replugged (prior to issue) that allowed malware thru and somewhere along the line of router, satellite or devices it is infected and I’d need to pay $349 for 5 years (maybe 3, can’t remember) or $499 for lifetime security protection. They said they clean up the malware and fix the issue. I don’t buy it. i have since done a factory reset, no help. I called Xfinity today, there is no issue with signal getting to modem. And YouTube says my modem is working fine. The router is now solid white light. of course Xfinity tried to have me rent a modem/router. any help, in simple terms, would be greatly appreciated. My soon to be ex husband was the tech guy- he skipped town to his new life and this is all foreign to me. Thanks a million in advance57Views0likes6CommentsRBE771 AP mode, Orbi app says cant find
Recently purchased RBE771 with 1 satellite. Had terrible trouble setting up in AP mode as it kept wanting to go into router. I have Verizon Fois which is in the basement and the I wanted wireless access in the upper levels. Was working in AP mode and I maybe yesterday I had a firmware update, running V10.5.19.5_2.2.37 on main and satellite. It seems to start playing havoc with my internet connection, powered off ONT, router and RBE771, did have a flashing pink (not sure what that means). It then all seemed to work. I am unable to use the Orbi app on my iphone, it shows a screenshot of the RBE771 in the background but then it comes up saying We can't find your Orbi, Try Again. If I go to Router Settings it shows 222 as the last digits as the ip address, it should be 153. I can log into the RBE771 in a web browser. I tried SET UP A NEW ORBI SYSTEM in the app menu but it is going through the steps of setting it up in router mode which I do not want and it gave me so much grief last time before I got it to AP mode. Any ideas how I can get back to seeing my RBE771 back in the ORBI app and is there a way of setting this up in AP mode from the start?274Views0likes25CommentsOrbi RBKE963 no connection
Today out of nowhere, both my satellites lost connection to my orbi router. I tried for hours to reconnect them, even resetted one of the satellites, then both, and eventuelly I also resetted the router. Tried to connect via iPhone over the initial WiFi connection. iPhone connects fine but the App does not find the router. I'm desperate and slowly start thinking that the sh.. it broken. Any ideas for troubleshooting?50Views0likes3CommentsSecurity Flaw - Orbi App - LogOut All
Hi I felt that someone has cracked my orbi App ie Netgear portal username and password. As a security measure I have now enabled 2 FA. This should protect me from all future threats but what about past ones. I have changed the password too. But the person who was already signed in will remained signed in as there is no option in Orbi App or Netgear account to "sign out from all instances". May be I am missing something. Can someone help? Regards78Views0likes6Comments
