Cannot access Orbi App with the same phone

Hi

I had to reset my phone today and after the installation of all the apps I cannot access Orbi. Looks like it is trying to send a push notification and then jumps to Login Denied screen.

I tried uninstall and reinstall.
I restarted the phone
I disabled Random Mac settings in the Wi-Fi.
I cleared cache and storage.
I installed it on another phone and tried to log in.
NG support was useless.

Please help in resolving the Orbi Access issue. Thank you all for any insight as I have spent half a day trying to get an answer.

      Yes the 2FA is turned on but there's no option to log in via web to disabled the 2fa. Looks like its trying to send a push notifications and within 1sec it says access denied.

        Alas, to keep my membership in the Computer Luddite Club (CLC), I have not activated two factor authentication on Netgear.  I seem to remember people posting that trying to log onto mynetgear.com offers alternative methods to authenticate, such as a "one time password", phone call, etc.

         

        Are you able to log into the Netgear web site?

         

  • What Orbi system do you have? the 960 series? 

    What Firmware version is on the system?

    What version is the Orbi app? 

    So other phone couldn't get logged in either?

    What phone platforms do you have?

    What OS version is on the phones?

      Yes. It's connected to the local and not Anywhere Remote option
