connecting Atomi outdoor lights
I have Atomi outdoor can lights that I assume have to run on 3.2 and not on 7 mesh. How do I get them to work with 7 mesh? I don't want to use old Orbi system just to run lights. Thanks for your...
It really helps to know the specific model number of Netgear WiFi router. and a link to the specific Atomi outdoor lights.
The Atomi instructions on connecting to WiFi are not encouraging. It appears that this may be one of those smartphone apps that is defective. i.e. if the smartphone is connected to 5G WiFi, then the smartphone app simply refuses to function.

Notice the comment that once the lights have learned the WiFi credentials, the smartphone app can be connected to any frequency. Thus, one strategy is to temporarily set the old system to broadcast only 2.4G using the WiFi credentials for the new system (SSID/password), temporarily turn the new system off, perform the setup, then turn the new system on and the old system off.
Notice that they require you to "give up" the benefits of WiFi6 (802.11ax) on the 2.4G channel.
Not a great purchase.
