Please post about this in the Orbi app forum:
https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi-App/bd-p/en-home-orbi-appGood Luck.
I agree with FURRYe38 that questions about the Orbi "app" are more likely to find answers over in the app forum. When you post there, please expand a bit on the question. For example, is the question about the "picture" or whether they match up.
The Orbi web interface stores device type as a number (from 1 to 44). When the Orbi web interface displays an image for the device, it pulls up a tiny picture. (I particularly like the Linux PC picture, complete with penguin.) The app has those little generic graphics that are also used in the other Netgear product lines (Nighthawk, for example). So, if the question is, "why is the web a cute picture and the app a gerneric graphic?", it's because what is stored internally is only a number.
On the other hand, if the question is about why does the web interface have a category for "Linux PC" or "Android Phone" and the app does not, my guess is it is because they are different development teams who are not coordinated very well.
Or, there are documented "issues" with some firmware releases in how the device tables are managed. i.e. "they suck".
It is probably really clear to you what you are asking, but do not be surprised if people (like me) run off in all sorts of directions that you did not anticipate.

Wow, this community is plenty of commanders not of helpers.
There are helpers for each area. Were just directing you to the correct area for help. Nothing commanding about it. Your issue is releated to the Orbi app and there is a specific forum for the Orbi app. Please post there.
Thank you.
