23 TopicsRBR20 Anywhere Access "This Netgear device is already registered with another account"
Set up: RBR20 and 1 Satellite Firmware 2.7.4.24 iOS Orbi App 2.30.2.14 I am connected locally (via WiFi) using the Orbi app on an iPhone (iOS 17) or iPad (iOS 17) logged in as "admin" user. Settings > Anywhere Access > Enable Anywhere Access results in an error message "The NETGEAR device is already registered with another account". Sometimes the (completely unhelpful) error message is "Some error occurred while enabling/disabling Anywhere Access" How can I resolve this so I can enable Anywhere Access? Thanks!1.4KViews0likes5CommentsParental Control and Anywhere Access Broken
So Anywhere Access and Parental Controls have been intermittent for years. Have tried all the “fixes”, but still not working for more than a few days at a time. Lately, I’ve noticed that the Anywhere Access will stop functioning, and when I get home, the Parental Controls have stopped logging activity for the same period of time as the AA was non-functional. All other devices in the home are functioning normally, and I can access the doorbell camera and security system in my Orbi network just fine, but the Orbi App cannot find my router. When I get home, I have to restart the router to force the Parental Controls to begin logging again. Is this happening to anyone else? Can someone please fix the Access issues that have been happening for years?1.5KViews0likes1CommentRB40 Orbi app not working
Hello - I had a power outage last night so everything went down briefly. Everything came back up, including wifi and my orbi router is working fine, but I can’t get back into the Orbi app. It keeps asking me for an admin password, which I put in, but it’s not taking. I also tried forgot password and it would send me to some sort of article but before I had time to read it, the screen would bounce back to the login page with “admin” in the user name. I’ve tried multiple times, including deleting the app and redownloading it (which I’ve done at least 6 times now), but it just keeps taking me back to that screen. Am I supposed to reset admin password or something? If so, how? **Note : the associated products section is wrong. I couldn’t find my product on there and I had to choose one in order for me to post, so I just chose anything. My Orbi is RBR 40, AC2200 for home use.500Views0likes1CommentCannot log in to Orbi app
I can’t log in to the Orbi app even after factory reset. It asks for admin credentials which should just be username: admin and password: password . If I try to recover the password it asks for security question answers which have never been set. This is an Orbi ac12001.2KViews0likes1CommentRBR20 can log in web, can't login using app
Hi, New issue with a long time setup. Have an RBR mesh at home, normally use mobile app to check on anything and now for some reason can't login using it. I verified my password etc and access by logging in using web portal with no issues, so password is good. Tried some basic troubleshooting: Hard powered everything (Routers, app, computers, internet router - everything) Re installed app Reset the admin password Firmware is up to date (Not been changed recently) Running out of ideas on what to try next, not terminal but annoying. Nothing has changed to cause this, just started happening today for some reason, or at least only noticed today, but as I say nothing changed my end for some time, can't rem last time I upgraded firmware which would be about only thing I would periodically change. Thanks in advance, John589Views0likes1Comment[RBR850] No Devices Listed in Attached Devices / Device Manager (In App)
Device : RBR850 / Orbi6000 Issue : No device listed in the Attached Device Screen and Device Manager in mobile app I have verified that all devices are indeed connected to the Orbi and that there is no other dhcp server that could be possibly giving the ip instead of Orbi. So devices are all connected to Orbi but just that the device manager does list any apps. On the web ui the list is just blank no errors. In IOS App, it keeps spinning saying loading for about a min and then throws the error “Sorry, the action was failed. Please try again. (code: CDIL-API-FAIL).” Firmware version : 4.6.8.5. I have been having this issue for quite sometime though.977Views0likes1CommentRBR50 / RBS50 Firmware Version 2.7.4.24 host internet access issue
Hello, With the latest Orbi RBR50 firmware 2.7.4.24 I have the following issue; can this please be confirmed? Orbi IOS App (latest version); host access to internet, when disable host, no access by this host to internet - works Orbi iOS App, enable host access, internet access, after 5 seconds, restored - works Now the issue; Orbi IOS App; host access to internet, when disable host, no access by host to internet - works Browser login to RBR50 and authorise access to host - STILL NO INTERNET ACCESS the only way, I found, using browser is to disable access control for everyone to get internet access for host (and everyone) Is this normal behaviour or could this be considered a bug? I’m not sure what happened but relatively recently, the Orbi and iPhone are no longer able to communicate together. The App never sees that I am connected to the routers WiFi. I’ve reinstalled the app, rebooted the router, various other attempts to fix but I can’t figure out what is happening. Someone please help!Solved4.6KViews1like7Comments
