Orbi App change 2FA email address.

Hello everybody, 

 

I have the Orbi app installed on my iphone and when I logged in this morning using my icloud email, I noticed that for 2 factor authentication, it was giving me the option for my phone number or my gmail.  I would rather use my icloud email to get the 2FA code.  How can i change that?  I logged to mynetgear account and when i go to profile > login settings on my computer, I don't see 2FA settings like others do.   I do see those settings on the Orbi app. 

 

Also, how do i remove an old iphone for device authentication as well?  

 

I have seen other posts about this and they mention FURRYe38 so i kindly request this persons assitance.

  • It seems that my email was changed somehow and i now get the codes on my icloud.com email by my phone number is not working.  I select sms message but then it does not let me progress when i click the continue button.

      I recommend using the following link to open a support case regarding the Orbi app: https://www.netgear.com/support/contact.aspx. To open a support case, please follow the steps below.

       

      1. Select "Get help on my NETGEAR product"

      2. Select your country

      3. Select "I have a NETGEAR product without a serial number"

      4. In the dropdown menu, please select "Orbi App" as the product
