Orbi App Requires ios 14
Hi,
I bought an Orbi Mesh WiFi router and can access the interface using my computer and through the Orbi app on my Android phone. I want to be able to use my Apple iPad also, but when I try installing the app from the App Store, I get a message on the iPad that says I need to upgrade to ios 14. The problem is, that the iPad is an older model, and can only accommodate up to ios 12.5. I can't upgrade it past that. Is there an older app version available? I called the Netgear support center and was told there isn't. I shouldn't have to purchase a new iPad for an app to work.
I encountered something similar with the Spectrum TV app, in that I was able to watch TV on the iPad for years, until it too required ios 14. There was a thread in a Spectrum forum where others were having the same issue, which got resolved after not too long.

Older pads and iOSs are not supported by newer generation apps. There was a cut off. iOS 12 is fairly old and no longer supported by Apple either. You'll need to upgrade the pad to a newer pad that can support newer iOS versions that will support the Orbi app.

I respectfully disagree. Did you visit the link to the Spectrum forum? Same exact situation, which began working. If there was an Orbi app that worked on ios12 or before, then it's possible.
