Orbi AX4200 WiFi 6 Router (RBR750) not downloading iCloud Pics to local iCloud Photo folders.
Recently installed this System with 2 satellites. I have a 2024 Dell 3530 with Intel Core i7 and Windows 11. I have a Starlink Satellite System but I used the "Bypass" feature and made the Orbi RBR750 my primary router. I didn't notice it right away but when I was going to copy some recent trip photos taken with my iPhone 11 and saved in my local iCloud for Windows app and Photo folder, the recent trip photos had not updated locally on my Dell. I used CoPilot to find solutions and there were a number of Orbi Router configurations to modify, as well as McAfee and Window Defender anti-virus and firewall settings to review. Without listing all the configurations I modified right now, if there are any users of this Orbi RBR750 router that experienced the same issue and found solutions I would love to discuss your solution to this issue. Thanks for your help in advance.

While AI can be useful, it often gives wrong information.
It sounds like your problem is specific to iCloud sync, since you can see the photos on on icloud.com. Your AV software might well have something to do with it, but it is unlikely to be a router problem. Can you give details on what you changed on the router?
Did you try
- making sure the iCloud software was up-to-date using apple software update?
- logging out of the iCloud app and then logging in again?
- restarting the PC?

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?Is IPv6 enabled on the RBR?
Using ISP Detected DNS or custom DNS?

Hmmmm. Internet AI seems to think that iCloud for Windows typically does not require any modification to customer routers:
Might be worth double checking that iCloud is set up correctly on the computer.
