Orbi rbr750 won’t connect to app or get on with ip address
I see this issue was closed back in May of 2022. I read everything and followed running everyone else did but it appears there is a fix for this problem, and that is was “pushed onto the orbi”. Obviously my orbi never go the push. How do I get his fix, if I can get on the orbi, I can’t download it and install it myself. Netgear has to do it. Catch 22
Looks like I was just a little impatient. I just looked at the details of my router again and it looks like the firmware got downloaded. And I resynched my satellite and that is also working. Thanks everyone for your support,

what modem/gateway is the router connected to?
What firmware is on the router and the satellites?
You can log in through the browser to check firmware and do manual updates.

It’s connected to a spectrum arris modem. I cannot log into the router using the http so I have no idea what the firmware is. That’s the whole problem. Router is working fine in that I have wifi but I cannot access the features to see what the firmware is, what speed the router is running at nothing

I suppose it is progress to know the ISP and the brand of the modem, but without knowing the model no one can help.
Over the years there have been dozens of Spectrum Arris Modems.
Knowing this might not get the attention of the moderators, but with some more details the symptoms you describe might well be open to other options.

Do you have the link handy to the original thread that was closed?
As I recall (dimly) there were two solutions:
- Do a Factory Reset, which loses all configuration information, then manually install newer firmware.
People really did not want to do that. - Wait for Netgear to 'push' a newer firmware update to solve the problem.
If your 750 got 'missed', some people were successful in contacting a forum moderator to have the firmware pushed to their router individually. Click on the screen name of a moderator (with the "N" after their name), which takes you to a profile screen, then select "Send a Private Message". Include your information, including the serial number of the router.

I cannot find the link but basically it is exactly what you said you need netgear to push the firmware to you. So far the people who have answered do not seem to be netgear people they are folks like you, so I need to wait for a netgear person to sign in and figure out how to get them to push the firmware to me
Here are some moderators who might be able to help. I confess that I do not remember which moderators were active on the Orbi forum a year ago, as they will have the most vivid memory of that situation.
This is a situation where there seem to be two ways to go forward:
- Contact a moderator with a private message. Provide your details and the serial number. Wait for something to happen.
- Do a Factory Reset and reconfigure the router. Then, update the firmware to a more recent version.
Only the user an decide which is the most appropriate choice.
- If you have done almost nothing to configure the system except set the WiFi credentials, then a Factory Reset is a "walk in the park". 15 minutes and you are back in business.
- If you have spent hours (and hours) reserving IP addresses, assigning user friendly names to devices, setting up DDNS and VPN, getting email logs to work, etc. etc. this could be a frustrating and time-consuming activity. (especially it is a bit vague what the settings were a year ago.)
Good Luck

Thank you everyone, I’m 90% of the way there I did another factory reset, this time I was able to reinstall the router. All mostly good. It says I have a firmware update available, new update, 4.6.14.3 and I’m on 4.6.9.11. Is this when I need to get the moderator to push firmware to me. And now one of my orbi satellites won’t connect to router. I’ve synced and reset but n luck just yet. I’ll figure that out, not a big probl, I’m more concerned with getting my firmware updated
