RBk50 - App not working

I just updated my iPad to IOS17.1.  Now the app will not let me log in.  I deleted the app and reloaded.  Everything seems to go fine with set up at first.  I am able to get past the initial login but when I choose “go to dash board” it takes me back to a log-in page where it shows the default user name (‘admin’) and it will not allow me to delete that and put in the correct user name.

  • The Orbi 'app' requires two login credentials:

    1. First the credentials for my.netgear.com, which are composed of
      1. An email address
      2. A complicated password.
    2. The Orbi web administration credentials, which consist of:
      1. User name "admin", which cannot be changed and
      2. A complicated password

    Perhaps the app has accepted the Netgear credentials and is now asking for the Orbi web interface login???

     

    (just a thought.  I have only Android products.  It could be that the Apple version is defective?)
