FURRYe38​ Yes, static IP on the RBR850 in AP mode (192.168.1.2). As far as firmware, since I cannot connect to the admin site or use the Orbi app, I have no idea. Based on the last time the Orbi app connected (Friday, May 30), the firmware version was v7.2.6.31.
