Unable to connect to the router - Via the App or Web

The System: CBR40 with two RBS20 Satellites.

The problem:

The internet is working.

The App does not connect to the router.

The Web Access also throws an error.

I have seen similar issues being reported for several other models, and this might be because of a firmware update. How can I restore my access, as I am not able to configure anything at the moment.

Similar Issues Spotted:

I came across the thread below, how do I provide my Sr. No. to Netgear to push a firmware update?? Please help!!

  • CBR40 firmware was last updated in March, 2022.  Thus, a firmware update is unlikely to be the cause of this issue.

Nor would pushing firmware seem to be the solution.

Is it correct to assume that the typical troubleshooting steps have been taken?

i.e. turn it all off. wait a minute. power up the router. wait two minutes. power up the satellites?

Can you please post a screen shot of the error message?

Thank you so much. I power-cycled the router at least a dozen time, but must not have waited long enough I guess. The system worked after following your instructions and was able to connect again via the App and Web.

      thanks!!
