2GB into RBR860 but only 1GB out.
I recently upgraded to 2gb internet service but while the router speedtest shows 2GB coming in, my computers are only getting 1GB service. I've replaced all my 1GB switches with 2GB switches and have confirmed 2.5GB transfer speeds computer to computer.
I did try tech support but was told because my "security" had expired my router was backed up with noise and that's why it can't get 2GB but I could buy security. I'm pretty sure this is BS because, again, I'm receiving 2GB service on the speedtest but they refused to help me any further because I wouldn't shell out for their security offering.
Any thoughts on what I may have done incorrectly? It supposedly supports 2GB.

The RBR860 Product Data Sheet is very clear
https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/RBR860S/RBR860S_TS.pdf
This router has one Ethernet WAN port capable of 10G, and four Ethernet LAN ports capable of 1G. That is the most it can do. One Gigabit per second.
Netgear provides 90 days of 'complimentary support' with the purchase of a new product. After that, customers can talk to Netgear Support only by purchasing a support contract:

Notice that neither of these options mention "security". People often do an internet search for "Netgear Support" and find themselves on a Non-Netgear web site.

p.s. Many of us came to the Community Forum (in my case over 7 years ago) when we were looking for information and rejected the idea of paying to have someone talk to us. Perhaps not the wisest decision.
Looking at those options today, it remains unclear (to me) what a person "gets" for paying Netgear $99 for the first year.
