6 Ghz wifi band
Hi,
I recently purchased Orbi (RBR750) Mesh router. When I configured the WiFi settings, I come to know that the 6ghz band is only available for wpa3 mode. Does it mean that I can connect my devices to wifi 6 (AX) only if I choose wpa3-personal? Unfortunately, I have many devices that doesn't support wpa3 mode. So, with a lack of wpa2/wpa3 mixed mode, am I stuck with wifi 5 (AC)?
please help.
Thanks,
San
Yes. AX and WPA2 mode is supporting 5Ghz.

6Ghz is not supported on Orbi AX systems. Will never be as WiFi 6E and 6Ghz is all new hardware specifcations.
If you don't have WPA3 supporting devices, you'll need to keep WPA2 enabled for compatibility.
- san_5678AspirantThanks. With WPA2 and 5ghz band, can I still able to connect to 802.11 AX?
