Bandwidth drop, RBR850

My system is RBR850 with three RBS850. I'm having total and utter nightmares with my Orbi RBR850 mesh system over the course of past two weeks.
I recently had EE full fibre broadband installed. Rigged up Orbi to the EE router and without any setting change worked fine for two weeks. It was after I did a reboot from the app that I got the trouble.
The trouble is incredibly slow internet. Useless if you do any Teams or Zoom meetings, you may as well forget it. Keeps saying bandwidth low and then eventually will drop out altogether. Takes forever for web pages to load and yet when you do a speed test it'll still show around 900mbs.
So I started to look at the router in advanced settings. Actually have it now connected directly to the fibre ONT. Tried cat 5e, 6e and 8 cables. No difference. My satilites are all connected wireless.
Tried to change firmware. When the trouble began it was on 7.2.6.31. changed back to 7.2.6.21 no difference. Updated to 7.2.7.15, no difference!
Did these via ethernet one by one. Did the satilites first and then router. Did a factory reset after each upgrade.
Have set the IPV6 to off. Have the 2.4ghz set at 01. Have tried the 5Ghz at 36, 40, 44 and 48.
After FW and factory reset changed the IP pool to 192.168.X.100 through to 200.
Set up the 24 smart devices outside of that pool with static IPs.
Changed the 2.4Ghz CTS to 2347.
Turned traffic meter off.
All the above has been done over the past 4 weeks and still no improvement.
Spoke with a local WiFi specialist and he thinks it because the full fibre is too fast for the routers and wireless satellites! Is this really correct? Do I need to upgrade to 970?
Any ideas please?

Reboot from what app? Orbi app?

Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem/ONT and router and satellites been performed?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
    Turn off and unplug modem.
    Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.

What speeds are you supposed to get from the ISP UP and Down?

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR 📡 and RBS 🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

Does this happen with the RBS turned OFF?
Does this happen with both wireless and wired devices?
What channel configurations are currently set on the router?
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Be sure to disable any MAC Address randomizers on phones and pads while at home:

Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, IPv6, Smart Parental Controls or Circle, Traffic Meter.

Set up the 24 smart devices INside of that pool with auto DHCP IPs.

Yes followed this more than once and no change.

Two are 35ft. One is 25ft but it has to pass through two concrete walls.

      Yes

      Yes

Detached house. Two neighbors either side but closest 200ft away.

All disabled and have no apple devices.

      Tried that. Most still disabled.

Set up the 24 smart devices INside of that pool with auto DHCP IPs.
This is how they were set up but I only changed this because of the issues and read a post on this platform to suggest trying to set them up like this. It hasn't made any difference though.

Concrete will be a beast to deal with for any WIFI or WIFI MESH system.

Had the bandwidth problem been seen before you had Fiber/ONT installed? I only see a ONT unit and no router built in to this partiuclar model ONT so I think were good there.

Bandwidth issue seen with ethernet connected devices behind the RBR?

  • I've been trying to solve a similar issue on RBR850 with three RBS850. running Zoom. Zoom is continously displaying low bandwidth and screen sharing lags (although it get there in the end)

I followed all the suggested setting changes including:

    Disable Guest network

Wireless Settings: 2.4Ghz Channel to 01

Wireless Settings: 5Ghz Channel to 48

Disable SIP ALG on (set to open)

Advance Wireless Settings: enable WMM (2.4Ghz) 2347 (Short Preample/50%)

Advance Wireless Settings: enable WMM (5.0Ghz) 2347 (Short Preample/100%)

IPV6 - Get Automatically from ISP ( I can't see how to turn off other that use a DNS Server)

IP Adddress Assignemtn - Auto Config

Traffic Meter is enabled with traffic volume contro by no limit

My internet speed seems fine 109 Mbps download /40Mbps upload - backhaul status reports as good

I'm using a Mac for Zoom which is wireless connnected to the RBR850 router, and have tried both wirelessly connecting and wired connected to the satellite.

The same lag and still the warning exists.

The firmware i old V4.6.9.11, so that is next up.

Just wondered if you or anyone else had resolved or have a recommended firmware version that work without disrupting all else?
