Can I change the wifi channels on the Orbi Mesh/RBK862SB?

Hey, I'm considering changing the router. The current model is a 2-pack Deco X60/AX5400. While it works most of the time but the smart devices keep disconnecting and connecting. This Christmas, I'll add more smart cameras/sensors. I'm afraid it's going to be a nightmare for X60. so I have to think early. From what I have experienced with Deco, smart devices work well when the 2.4Ghz stays on channel 11/20mhz, but it keeps changing its mind:-(. Does RBK862SB allow me to manually change the wifi channels, especially for the 2.4ghz band?

Thanks.

The Netgear RBK862S is a good option to consider if you're looking for manual control over WiFi channels. To change the WiFi channel on your router, you'll need to log in to its web interface, usually through a URL like 192.168.1.1, and navigate to the wireless settings section. From there, you can select the 2.4GHz frequency band and choose a specific channel, such as channel 1, 6, or 11, which are generally considered the best options for minimizing interference.

For optimal performance, you may also want to consider adjusting the channel width to 20MHz, which can provide a more stable connection for your smart devices. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you do so: AESSuccess

Access Router Settings: Log in to your router's web interface and navigate to the wireless settings section.

Select 2.4GHz Band: Choose the 2.4GHz frequency band and select the desired channel (1, 6, or 11).

Adjust Channel Width: Set the channel width to 20MHz for a more stable connection.

Save Changes: Save your changes and restart your router if necessary.

Keep in mind that the exact steps may vary depending on your router model, so it's a good idea to consult your user manual or manufacturer's support resources for specific instructions.
