Hi,
Thanks for the responses but after a lot of research on the web I updated the firmware on the Draytek and reset to factory settings just to be sure. After resetting the Orbi the app took me through the set up ending with the statement that there was still no internet connection. In advance settings I tried the PPPoE and used mailto:Bthomehub@btinternet.cim and BT for the password. It then said it had an internet connection but at the end of the process the app on my iphone said it could not connect with the Orbi. I then switched my mobile device to my ipad where I already had the ORBI app for my old Orbi. That indicated I had an internet connection so I did a test and all seemed to be working. Maybe the real problem was the app!
So all is good now and all working fine with much better coverage and performance than my old Orbi.
Although this is WiFi6e and not 7 this Orbi kit was fantastic value at £534 from Amazon as on the Netgear website it said it was £1600 obviously now end of line but the quality of the product is just so much better than the TP-Link Deco I returned last week at a special price of £300. There is no comparison in the feel of the two products and I hope this Orbi does me as well as my old one did for the last 8 years.
