cant find option 61- Orbi 753 (AX4200)

I want to set this up with an vigor 130 modem but my ISP needs Option 61 to validate.

Looking through the forums they said the orbi had this added in recent firmware updates. Ive put the latest firmware on today but cant find the option where others say it should be (ive been through every setting on the web login page rather than the IOS app).

Am I crazy or does it not exeist in this particular orbi?

many thanks

  • I don't see it the UI. Something NG hasn't added at this point. I'd contact NG support and give them your information. Otherwise, use the ISP Modem for it's option 61.

Thanks. Frustrating as it seems some other orbi models do have it.

I want to use the orbi as a router and the modem as a pure modem so I dont have a double nas.

        Couple of options,
        1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
        2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
        3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop

        Try option #2 then...
