Do you have IPv6 enabled on your router?
When I go to advanced —> advanced —> ipv6 then it is switched off. Do I have to turn this on and set it on automatic?
No. Reason for asking is that at least with this site, there is a known problem if IPv6 is enabled. For unknown reasons the site doesn't handle the log in process correctly if IPv6 is enabled. NG still hasn't fixed it I believe.
Normal IPv4 addressing should work along with any browser at my.netgear.com
Be sure to clear out all browser caches.
Be sure to disable any security browser add-ons or extensions that may cause problems.
Try Firefox or Opera browsers. I use Opera all the time.
Weird. I used edge, chrome and safari. Cleared all cashes. I also used in private browsing. At home and at work. My own WiFi, work WiFi and 5g.
i deleted the app on my phone, logged on with the new email adres and that worked. It it kept saying use the other known email adres. Which I do now cause the it came back with the error everything and worked annoying.
I found out that I have to factory reset my router to be able to use my new email adres. Pretty lame I think, or is it? That is something I was not expecting and want to do…..for now.
Ya shouldn't have to factory reset the router, however possible how NG has the system paired with an email address and only way would be to reset the system and setup from scratch. Not sure though.
