Combination of AP mode and satellites results in massive security issue
Hello, I have a problem with my NETGEAR Orbi RBK853 (1 router, 2satellites) in AP mode in combination with a Fritz!box. The Fritzbox takes care of the DECT telephone and the Internet, directly behind it is the ORBI router, to which in turn 2 satellites with Ethernet are connected. This works very well so far, but the satellites generate a 5 GHz WiFi network that is completely unsecured. This cannot be turned off on the satellites. The WiFi-network is WPA2 secured on the router. I have already installed the latest firmware V3.2.15.32_1.3.25, unfortunately without success.
The problem only exists on the satellites and only, when I am in AP mode, everything is ok in router mode.
Setup on Satellit:

Can you configure the modems DMZ for the RBR and change the RBR to router mode and see if the RBS still report same problem?
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?
