Compatibility of RBK853 wifi 6 system with RBS20 satellite

Question

Hi there,Is it possible to use an RBS20 satellite with the RBK853 wifi 6 system? I could either wire the RBS20 satellite to the RBR853 router or have it wireless, however I do not want to disable AX wifi-6 mode on the RBR853 router.&nbsp;Any help is appreciated!&nbsp;Cheers.

You could wired the RBS to the RBR. Currently RBS AC series units are not wirelessly compatible with Orbi AX.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Hi Furrye38,&nbsp;Thanks for the response. Can I just confirm that I would not need to disable AX mode for the RBK850 system, it will only be the RBS20 satellite that will use AC technology?&nbsp;Cheers!

You can leave AX mode enabled. The RBS20 will be acting like a wired AP is all.&nbsp;

Thanks again for the response.Just to be sure I've understood, if I add an RBS20 satellite with a wired connection to the RBR853, the AC satellite will join the mesh network alongside the RBS850 satellites, the only difference will be that it's not capable of AX connections?&nbsp;&nbsp;Cheers!

Yes, it should. I tested a RBS50 wired to the RBR850 and it was working.&nbsp;
