Connecting RBS850 to RBR860

Question

Hello,&nbsp;I bought an 860 router to upgrade from my 850 (which I gave to one of my children).&nbsp;I am trying to add my 850 satellites to my 860 router.&nbsp; I understand that Netgear's website says that the 850 sats are not compatible the 860 router, but I saw some posts (that I cannot now find) saying that people have been able to connect them.&nbsp;I tried to connect my 850 satellites using the Orbi App.&nbsp; Although the app did not detect the satellites, the lights turned blue.&nbsp; Despite that, I was not able to get any device to connect to the satellites.&nbsp;Any suggestions?&nbsp;&nbsp;

Suggestiion would be to find RBS that are compatible, i.e. RBS860 series.&nbsp;

Also in a pinch, EX and EAX series wifi extenders can connect to a Orbi system.&nbsp;

The only satellites shown to be compatible with the RBS860 are the RBS860.&nbsp; No others.
