Constant connection issues for devices [RBRE960B]
My previous Orbi model was great - everything worked smoothly, little issues.
I then upgraded to the RBRE960B (due to specs) and wow, this has not been the same experience.
I am getting constant disconnects from devices on the network - printer, exercise equipment, security cams, sump pump backup, etc. It's scattered in terms of what the devices are.
So far, the only solution I've found is to reboot the router. Seems simple enough on the surface; however, then the IP addresses for all the devices could change. This becomes a giant problem with my Brother MFC-L8900CDW printer. Sometimes the exercise equipment which runs on the Wi-Fi stil doesn't connect.
I messaged support but wanted to post here in case other people have a solution already.
My one thought was to assign a fixed IP address to devices, if that's possible.
With all that said, my internet speed has never been faster and I'm getting almost exactly what I'm paying for. I coupled the RBRE960B with the Netgear CM2000 modem with Cox 1 gig plan.

While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
Orbi WiFi 6 (AX) and WiFi 6E (AXE) - NETGEAR Communities
I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
Check for various troubleshooting tips.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.- CMoneyTradingAspirant
I'm aware of manuals and searching on forums, thanks. As stated, I had an Orbi and got a new Orbi, while running Netgear modems. Prior to that, I had the Nighthawk. While I was hoping for a quick solution, I've spent hours before even posting here looking for help.
If someone has a useful reply, that'd be great.
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What CAT# lan able are you using between the RBR and CM modem?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
https://kb.netgear.com/31029/Where-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite 📡What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?Do you have the IoT and separate 6Ghz SSID broadcasts enabled?
How many devices do you have connected?
