device on RBS750 ethernet port does not show on network

Hi, I bought rbr750 with two rbs750 and just set them up. The two satellite are connecting to route wirelessly and everything looks working fine. However, when I connect a device using ethernet cable to one of the satellites. I cannot see the device from the web interface of the router or the satellite. Please help me to make it work. Thanks.

Here is the information for the satellite:

  • Hardware Version: RBS750
  • Firmware Version: V3.2.16.22_1.4.9
Orbi Satellite WiFi Status (2.4GHz)
  • Name (SSID): xxxxxx
  • Channel: 4
  • Region: United States
  • Wireless mode: Up to 286.8 Mbps
  • Wireless AP: On
  • Broadcast Name: On
  • Security Type: WPA2-PSK[AES]
Orbi Satellite WiFi Status (5GHz)
  • Name (SSID): xxxxx
  • Channel: 36 + 40 + 44 + 48(P)
  • Region: United States
  • Wireless mode: Up to 1201 Mbps
  • Wireless AP: On
  • Broadcast Name: On
  • Security Type: WPA2-PSK[AES]

Thanks.

  • I got the problem solved by connect the NAS to a router with 10.0.0.1 ip address. After connecting a PC to the same router, I can log into the NAS and changed the Static IP setting to Dynamic one. Then when I put the NAS back to Orbi, the NAS is online and get the correct IP address. Thanks.

  • Any progress on this?

Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with Orbi system been performed since last update?

Glad you got it fixed. Seems like you had a Static ON the NAS that needed to be set to Dymanic.

        Enjoy.
