Does the Orbi 960 support Thread Devices
I am wanting to add a Smartlock with Thread however I am a little confused if I need my Mesh network to support Thread. I read that the 960 does not support thread however I do have an Apple TV 4K which can act as a thread router but I'm unsure if the smart lock can connect directly to the Apple TV or do I have to have some Thread wireless router to do that?

Check with the Mfr of the device to see if the device will connect to a standard wifi signal, SSID name and password.
There is a separate IoT network configuration on Orbi systems that you can connect IoT devices too.

These all see to be specific to the device and have there own hubs to pick from that are compatible.

It appears that different hubs support different integration systems. Apple TV 4K supports Apple Home (whatever that is), but does not support Alexa, Google Home, or Smart Things (Samsung).
