FaceTime freezing every now and then
Hello,
I recently inquired in another forum about upgrading from my 850 series (router and 2 satellites) to the 970 series just to have the latest technology. I was advised against it because there aren't many devices yet running on 6E or 7. Therefore, I've decided not to upgrade.
However, I realized I should also ask for assistance with fixing FaceTime, as it occasionally freezes even though a satellite is only 15 feet away.
Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

FURRYe38, thank you for the info.
To answer some of your questions.
Iām using firmware v7.2.6.31_5.0.24
The house is 3500 sq. ft.
Modem: Arris - Surfboard S33. The 850 router is connected to the S33 2.5 Gbps Ethernet. Iām using Spectrum as my ISP. My downloads are 1200, uploads 42.
The main router is upstairs (center of house) and the 2 Satās are downstairs about 60-65 feet apart.
I havenāt had this problem with my wired Mac Studio Ultra.
Iāll get back regarding channel configās. My neighbors are not very close.
Since updating the firmware on the router/satās, I havenāt powered off the units. Iāll try that and the modem as well.
All cables are CAT 6a.
Iāll try disabling and enable what you suggested.
Iāll come back when Iāve done these tests.
Thanks again for all your help. I appreciate it. š
