Have to constantly forget and rejoin network
Hi - I have an Orbi 6 RBR850 and two RBS850 satellites. All was working fine until I moved home (kept the same SSID / Password etc.). Now whenever I move a device in the house and it needs to switch ...

Running in bridge (modem only) mode?
Did you reset and reconfigure everything when you moved?

Thanks. Firmware is V7.2.7.15.

~2,500 Sq ft
They're more than 30ft apart and wired
We do use Private Relay on iCloud so will switch that off and see if it helps

I left everything exactly as is. I could never get official modem mode working (even in the old place) so I just leave it in regular mode, switch WiFi off, plug into the Orbi and it works fine. The only change is the satellites are now wired, not wireless so have unplugged and we’ll see if this helps

That does not disable the router bit of Virgin Media's hub 4. So you have two routers on your network competing to manage your local traffic. Bad news.
What is Double NAT? | Answer | NETGEAR SupportGoing wireless with the satellite isn't likely to help. If anything if could slow things down.

If you reset everything and set up from scratch, the Orbi router may detect the Virgin Media's hub and set itself up with settings that avoid the NAT clash. It picks a different local IP address.

Curious why it should make a difference though?
That's why CrimpOn asked the question. It makes all the difference. See above.
Your ISP may be the same, but that does not leave everything else unchanged.

I gather that, unlike BT's hubs, Virgin Media's hub support bridge mode. You might like to sort that out before crippling your Orbi work with wifi links to the satellites. In any case wifi and wired will both use the router.
