Help! RBR850 - No Internet Connection

I have an RBR850 Orbi system connected to a CM1200 Nighthawk cable modem.  I have had no problems for the past 11 months.  Yesterday the RBR850 stopped detecting the internet (no changes to system), and I have been unable to get the router to detect an internet connection.   All of the lights are solid green on the cable modem.  I will note the troubleshooting I have tried below.  I am starting to think that the ethernet port is not working, but am out of ideas on what else I can try.

 

If the community has any suggestions, it would be appreciated.  I can supply more details if needed.

I have firmware version V3.2.18.1_1.4.14 on the RBR850

Firmware version V3.12.03 on the CM1200

 

Some of the troubleshooting I have tried include:

Lots of powercycling/rebooting in various sequences. 

Use different cable - Does not detect internet

Connect computer directly to the CM1200 - Computer connnects to internet

Factory reset the RBR850  - Does not detect internet

Use the MAC address of the computer to connect - Does not detect internet

Try setting up Link Augmentation (from ports 1/2 from the CM1200) - It errors and would not set up - I hoped if port is dead then maybe it would use the network through the augmentation port.

Connect through ancient port hub (CM1200 port 1, RBR850 port2, Computer port 3) - Computer connected to internet (SLOW), RBR did not.

  • IS LAG disabled on both CM modem and RBR850? IF so, and you've done most of the troubleshooting. RBR850 maybe faulty and needs replaced.

     

    I just had my RBR850 connected to my CM1200 for past year. Now on CAX80.
