High peaks latency Orbi RBR750
Hello Everybody, I want your advice fo what kind of settings I can tweak in my Orbi RBR750 as I'm experiencing a high latency ping peaks after every certain amount of seconds. Let me give a litt...
Try pinging the same serices or different DNS serivces to compare results with a PC directly connected to the ONT with out the RBR being online.
Are other devices online when your pinging. Try to ping with out other devices being online as well.
Trun OFF all RBS as well prior to pinging.
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
Who is the ISP?
Do they offer native IPv6 support?
Is IPv6 enabled?
Is the RBR using auto detected ISP DNS or custom DNS on the RBR?
If prior ISP and this Orbi system didn't have this issue and you changed ISP and now see this, would be something this new ISP maybe should take a look at.
