I own a RBK753 (also referred to as RBR750) Wi-Fi 6 system. A month or so ago, I was hacked and find myself locked out and completely at a loss. I tried recouping my access using orbilogin (which I successfully competed with new mail and password) except I remain locked out of my router and the unknown email account still in control. Is there any way to get back control without having to reset to factory settings?2.4 ghz connection issues
I have Xfinity internet with a NETGEAR Nighthawk CM3000 modem and a NETGEAR Orbi AX3000 router(RBK653). The internet is great we receive 6 ghz connection on wifi throughout the house; but, I recently purchased the Kohler Moxie wifi showerhead and speaker and have been unable to connect it to my home internet. Speaking with Kohler it appears the system requires a 2.4 ghz connection. I utilized the Orbi app to to change my Iot connection to solely a 2.4 ghz connection and not the 2.4 and 5 ghz but the speaker still can't connect to the home wifi. When I connect my phone to the Iot connection it still shows I have a 6 ghz connection to the system. Any suggestions?Guest Network to Private
Hello, I have a Orbi RBR750 with a internal network setup as well as a guest network. I'm trying to configure the Orbi to allow any IP on the guest network to access one single static IP (my Marantz AVR) for Airplay. I tried port forwarding for all UDP & TCP ports (just for testing) to the static IP of the Marantz and still can't see that IP from the guest network. Looking for help on what I might be doing wrong.RBR750 and Citrix Connection Interruptions (New)
I have a RBR750 and satellite with Firmware V7.2.7.15 and running Citrix Workspace App for Windows Version 25.03.10. I am using a Dell Inspirion I7 with Windows 11. This has been running fine for many months. Today I am randomly getting Connection Interrupted when I am VPN'd to my work. Nothing changed, I think there was a windows update recently. My Internet speed is like 950mb/50 upload. My wife works at same place and her Win10 HP has no issues. My connection started randomly showing the connection interruption. Here is where it gets interesting If I change my phone to a hotspot, there is no issue. I am at a loss and thinking possibly a firewall or router issue or my laptop, I am seeing my laptop getting a dhcp connect frequently when I am using citrix? Any suggestions on what to look for or try? The model is a motorola MB8600 with 1 gig service.Solvedchallenge under 750 under AP mode
seek support here about AP mode. I really like the router mode of my 753 package. Now as I want to upgrade my router to 2.5G, I need use a new router to do the network dialing and DHCP and put my RBR750 as AP mode. Under the AP mode, the wifi speed is really slow and even under wired connection, my PC could only very slowly to access netgear admin page. Any suggestion will be highly appreciated for the AP mode.Orbi RBS750 firmware update failing
I purchased an add-on satellite for my Orbi 750 system and am having trouble getting it connected to the router. I've learned from similar posts that this might be resolved if I update the firmware on the new satellite. I tried every troubleshooting suggestion I could find, including a factory reset of the whole system. I can access the new satellite if I wire it to the router, identify the IP address and log in to it directly. The status of the satellite appears to be fine other than the old firmware. It's currently on V3.2.16.22_1.4.9 (vs the V7.2.7.15_5.1.16 running on the router and original satellite.) I have the latest firmware my PC, but when I try to manually update the satellite it quickly fails each time. Any suggestions on how to resolve this?SolvedRBR750 WAN port pins "pair D" not functional
I am running an RBR750 with single RBS750 on firmware v7.2.7.15_5.1.16 and just upgraded to USInternet 1 Gigabit fiber. After the installation I connected the Orbi to the fiber modem via Cat6 patch cable through the yellow WAN port. When running a speed test, either through speedtest.net (laptop wired ethernet or wireless to Orbi) or through the Orbi web browser administration page (ADVANCED>Setup>Speed Test) I am getting about 95 Mbps upload and download in each of those configurations. When running the speed test with my laptop connected directly to the fiber modem with the same Cat6 cable, I get 962 Mbps. I connected my old Nighthawk N750 to the fiber modem with the Cat6 cable, and with the laptop wired to an ethernet LAN port I got 297 Mbps, and wireless 142 Mbps. I reconnected the Orbi RBR750 and contacted the USInternet tech support, and their cable diagnostic reported that "pair D" is bad and suggested replacing the ethernet cable. As the cable is fully functional, there is a problem with the RBR750 WAN port. Looking at the WAN port, all 6 pins look intact without any damage, corrosion, bend or deviation. Is there some software setting I am missing that is disabling pair D in the WAN port? Or is this some physical issue with the RBR750 itself? Through all my research it does not seem I can bypass the WAN port to use the RBR750 in AP mode and the N750 as my router, as the ethernet cable still needs to go through the WAN port on the RBR750. Is there any way to use one of the LAN ethernet ports to connect the RBR750 (as the mesh wireless network) to the N750 (wireless disabled) that I am missing?Wired connected Mac Mini with RBR 750 has no internet connection
Hi, My Mac Mini is connected via Ethernet to the RBR750 router and serves as a document server for our home network. All other devices can access it, whether they're connected wirelessly or by cable. However, the Mac Mini itself doesn’t have internet access through Ethernet. To update the system, I have to manually switch to Wi-Fi and disable the wired connection. Interestingly, the Mac Mini is reachable by other devices over Ethernet, which suggests the issue might lie in the RBR750’s configuration. For reference, the Mac Mini uses a reserved IP address when connected via Ethernet, but obtains an IP through DHCP when using Wi-Fi. I’ve reviewed the router settings multiple times but haven’t been able to pinpoint the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated—thanks! LeeSolved
