Good morning, in the area where I live they've installed pure FTTH fiber optics, so my ISP will be changing my router. I have an Orbi RBK 753 system in router mode connected to the LAN port of my current ISP's modem/router and to the WAN port of the Orbi router. I'm attaching photos with the current Orbi router settings. The WAN IP address is taken from the DHCP server of my current ISP's modem, and I've set the DNS to Google's. I'd like to ask, when I install the new ISP modem/router, which also has DHCP, and leave these settings on the Orbi router, as soon as I connect it to the new modem/router, the Orbi automatically takes the new IP address and everything works perfectly as it does now. Right? Thanks for the replies.Reconvergence?
I have a 3 node RBR750 network. The router is connected to my ISP router (A), one node is at my server rack (B) and the last node is in my office connecting my pcs (C). I have a ups on the router and ISP gear. This morning, that ups died, taking the Orbi router (A) and ISP gear off line. Naturally that meant no Internet connectivity. But was odd was that I could not access my servers (B) from my office PC (C). I was always under the impression that everything was meshed, that is A connected to B, B to C and C to A. In this case, A to B and A to C would be down, but B to C should have still been up. This morning's behavior seems to suggest that the topology is A to B and A to C, but nothing B to C.DHCP issues after reboot
I have the same problem with one sattelite, 40 devices, AT&T Fiber BGW320 for 4 months (prior was Cox cable) . Using an AI as a tutor its helped me move from V 7.2 7 15 , to V 7.2 8 5 on both router and satellite disable WIFI on ATT Gateway, IP Passthru , factory reset twice, when I manually put in the ip address for my LAN 10.0 0 40 and gateway 8.8.8 8 it works great on my TV again, BUT I have to do IP Configuration manually. the stove, and fridge connect with the Samsung Hub, but no IOT cameras work. Alexa started working, no plugs or bulbs will work anymore. I'm to the point of Downgrading the firmware which I have read to use V 4.6 14 3, or even Alternate "Rock Solid" Choice: V 3.2 16 6 . what do you suggest? No sure if my ORBI RBR750 is broken
I have an ORBI RBR750 system for about 3 years now. A tree fell during an ice storm and knocked out my FIOS internet. I got on AT&T cellular internet for a few days until FIOS service returned. I put the ORBI on the AT&T router and it ran fine. Once FIOS service returned, I put the ORBI back on FIOS. A few days later my ORBI units no longer work. I have done a factory reset on ORBI units, they no longer work on AT&T or FIOS. The lights are static white. Any ideas? Can't Unregister Orbi754 Router
My Orbi AX4200 RBK754 Mesh system won't completely unregister. The Satellite units unregistered with zero problem. The Router won't unregister because " services or contracts" still exist for this system. I've already canceled my Netgear Armor contract, which doesn't really end until the current contract ends (27 Feb)--it just stops auto-renewal. I also still show 35 days left on support services on MYNETGEAR registered products page. I have multiple "CASE NUMBERS" opened trying to get Customer Support to fix this problem...WHICH WILL A TECH TAKE 5 MINS. IF AND WHEN A TECH ACTUALLY GETS MY CASE!!! This haS put me off NETGEAR for future purchasesSatellites showing as RBS750QV and "update failed"
I also had this issue (satellites showing as RBS750QV and "update failed"). My router and satellites were at V7.2.8.2 showing "no new firmware available" but I noted that my satellites were attempting to update (periodically restarting). And while the router and satellites were all working, I'm not the type to leave well enough alone (sometimes to my own detriment) so, I manually updated my router (RBR750) to V.7.2.8.5 which worked without issue. I then did one satellite using the firmware for RBS750. That also worked and it now shows as a "RBS750" at V.7.2.8.5. However, I attempted to do the same (manual update) for my 2nd satellite and it failed (but the satellite is still working). I power cycled that satellite and tried again. The update worked and now, both satellites show as RBS750 and everything is at V7.2.8.5.SolvedCannot access Orbi AX4200 anymore
I have the Orbi AX4200 WiFi 6 High-Performance Router (RBR750) I used to be able to either go to orbilogin.net or use the Orbi Android application to manage the device. Now, even after multiple power cycles, I cannot access the device. Any IP or url I try doesn't connect and the Orbi app says "No devices available". However, both my wifi and internet are working fine. Any suggestions?
