Printer Connect
I have a new printer, Epson ET-3958 and an Orbi RBS 760 mesh system.After reading many post, I now know the problem is the printer can only connect at 2.4 but the router wants to connect at 5g.
Last night I tried reducing the power on the 5g to 25%, unpluging the close Orbi and reconnecting the printer. It worked, then I connectedthe close Orbi and chaged the 5g power to 100%, This morning the printer was disconnected.
What can I do to keep the printer using the 2.4g and not attempt to reconnect at 5g?

Epson says this printer has "Dual Band" WiFi:

i.e. the router announces, "I support 2.4G and 5G" and the printer says, "fine. connect me to 5G"
A device that supports ONLY 2.4G simply cannot connect to a router at 5G. The only way to force a 2.4G connection is to find a feature in the printer to disable 5G.
My mistake, and misleading information from Epson support. A ethernet cable works great as does when a move a Orbi within 5' of the printer. I suspect I have a printer with a weak WIFI.

How close is the printer to the satellite? If it is very close (around a foot), then the Orbi's transmitter could be overloading the printer's receiver. This is called "Receiver Desensitivation".
But if this were the cause, then reducing the Orbi signal strength is not a good solution. The signal strength affects the entire mesh, so there are other consequences - satellites getting a poor backhaul connection to the router, and loss of whole house coverage.
so you can get it to connect, it just doesn't stay connected?
Did you check with epson?
Or go into the orbi and set the printer with a reserved IP address?
