Hi FURRYe38
Firmware: 7.2.7.15
Man and model ISP: Modem ZTE F670l
ISP: Is from Mexico, is called Telmex
IpV6 disabled in orbi, but I'm not totally sure seems accept ipv6, because WAN setup in ISP ONT is setup with a non-editable dropdown with ipv4/v6 selected.
RBR auto detects ISP DNS.
What I did yesterday was:
Change ethernet cable from cat8 to cat6 -> same result
Do the ping from Orbi router -> same result
Do the ping from the ISP ONT -> not happening
I did a lot of configurations yesterday with no luck, I'm almost sure that I'm missing a setting from the ONT that I have to setup in Orbi.
I noticed the following:
To put the ONT into bridge mode, you have to enable VLAN and set a VLAN ID, If I remove that, it doesn't work the internet using the Orbi
Orbi has an option for VLAN, where you enable it and it retrieve the same values from the ONT VLAN, but when I apply the changes internet doesn't work and I can't connect anymore to the orbi configuration site even using orbilogin.com, I ended up by reset orbiAfter many attempts yesterday and today, I'm not sure if that is the path that I have to follow, but I hope this can bring you an idea.
