Hi. I am with TPG using NBN FTTC. The provider supplied NBN box with modem TP LINK ARCHER 1600. I would like to connect my new mesh wifi orbi rbk763 direct to NBN box without using TP LINK ARHER1600 but dont know it work or not. Please help

Can you please look on the product label for the exact model number of the Archer? What does the ISP say about not using the Archer?

The important consideration is whether TPG is providing telephone service. The Archer VR1600v provides a telephone jack so that house telephones can be connected to the network. If you purchase telephone service from TPG, then the Archer VR1600v is required. If they are not providing telephone service, then the Orbi can be plugged into the modem in place of the Archer.
