How to connect my RBR850 to my KPN network (NL)?

I'm using the RBK50 (with 1 wireless satellite) with the KPN Box 12 in NL as follows:
- The KPN Box 12 as the modem/router with WiFi disabled (no you cannot set it in bridge mode)
- The RBK50 as an access point with a wired connection to the KPN Box 12. The RBK50 has WiFi enabled and the wired connection is in the yellow internet port.
As my devices connect wireless to the RBK50, but the KPN Box 12 assigns the IP addresses and provides internet (+ TV). On the RBK50 admin pages, I can see the devices connected wireless, where as on the KPN Box 12 they are shown wired.
That's all. I have this running for almost a year and it works fine.

i get stuck when i deactivate the wifi on the VPN router v12. It seems that when I switch off the Wi-Fi, then I do not get internet out of the router. i plugged 3 different computers to the LAN connections (1 mac, 2 windows), I have also plugged a docking station to the LAN. Nothing helps. I do not get internet via LAN when i simply disable the wifi option.
Since the Wi-Fi is off, and I need a LAN connection to activate it again, I need to do a factory reset to the modem. Then the Wi-Fi comes back. And internet works perfectly.
Is there a special setting to activate / configure in the routers' settings before I disable the Wi-Fi?
