I have a HP Officejet Pro 8620 printer. I also have an Orbi - AX 6000 Router. I am enrolled in HP Instant Ink program which requires my printer to connect to HP servers. I have internet connection...
The IP address in the connected router is the same as shown on the printer.
Are you able to ping the printer from a computer connected to the same network?
