Iphone Wifi but no internet when connected to router
AX6000 WiFi Mesh System (RBK853) 1 RBR850 Router and 2 (RBS850) Satellites. Xfinity xFi Gateway (1200/35), Netgear JGS524PE Main Switch. Wired Backhaul to Main Switch.
This is similar to the issues raised by Rogelio1
Slightly different but hopefully not unique.
My iOS devices, three iPhone 13's and an iPad have Internet issues only when connected to the main router located in the basement. They exhibit either extremely slow internet speeds or no internet access at all.
When they are connected to either satellite, I have no issues. It's problematic because my home office is in the basement and the main router seems to be the one most likely to grab devices that are outside.
Thoughts?? Basic map attached.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.Be sure all IGMP protocols and any Green Ethernet features are disabled on the switch.
CAT6 is recommended.
For that size of home, the RBR and just 1 RBS would be needed. If you run two, I would turn down the power on the RBR from 100% to 25%.
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

- FW - 4.6.9.11_2.3.5
- It is an xFi Gateway from Xfinity
- Model:CGM4140COM
- Vendor: Technicolor
- Hardware Revision:2.2
- Cable's are fine, green features disabled, but likely irrelevant since the Router is before the switch.
- Dumb question but will turning down the power impact throughput speed?
- They are all kind of stacked on top of each other floor to floor, (almost directly above each other on each floor) so max definitely less than 30 feet between them. But again might be irrelevant since I am using Wired Backhaul
- All the Apple stuff disabled.
I have read many posts on this, this seems isolated to the RBR only. The devices roams fine. If I go upstairs and it roams to the 1st floor satellite, boom, problem solved.

- Hardware Revision:2.2Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktopTry option #2 first.

Try turning OFF one RBS and see how things work. Too Much Wifi: https://youtu.be/UR0viMLISz4
