Found this online:
User Class: Type 1 into this box. Entering "1" bypasses the empty-string bug in Netgear's firmware, forcing the Orbi to successfully request an address block from Cox's ONT.
I am currently testing this out to see if I can maintain an IPv6 connection with firmware V7.2.8.5_5.1.21.
Where is this input at on the RBR?
Top right hand corner in the IPv6 setting tab under Advanced/ Advanced.
I added a "1" in the user class box and applied it. Only time will tell...
Dropped an IPv6 connection after about 30 minutes adding the 1 in the user class settings box, now I tried changing IPv6 filtering from Secure to Open... still observing and checking here: https://test-ipv6.run/
Dropped again in about an hour... I am done testing.
