IPv6

Been waiting a year and a half for the 850 series...seems to plague the entire Netgear lineup in some form. IPv6 has really become an issue for many users.

    Change your DNS to a custom one. Once I did that, my ipv6 was stable. Don't use the ISP supplied dns

      I have, I am running Cloudflare. I have honestly tried EVERY single troubleshooting step with no luck. I am convinced it it an issue within the firmware.

       

      Note: IPv6 is flawless running V7.2.6.31_5.0.24

        You'll need to keep v.31 running for now if you want IPv6 working until NG gets the AX and AXE series updated.

    I'm hoping that NG will eventually get IPv6 changes down here at the AX and AXE levels. There currently working on BE series IPv6 issues. Making improvements. Also we can't leave off ISP and Client side issues as well. IPv6 is a multi factor platform and all need to be involved. 

     

    I've been using 3rd party IPv6 tunneling services since my ISP doesn't support native yet. Been working pretty good so far. 

    Also uses custom DNS as well, quad9.
