issues Orbi6 satellite
Major issues with the main port on the RBR850 Orbi Satellite 6. When the lights flicker for 10 seconds due to storms
happened twice the Orbi is shot, althought its reset and rebooted many times its unresponsive no matter how much earthnet cable you change. I bought brand new and withing 4 month orbi stop working it won't connect to modem -gearhead support after 5 hours could not fix it either it was returned and Netgear sent me another but it was a refurbish within two weeks later same situation, lights flicker for 5 second 2nd orbi down again, modem is also from netgear, after being on the phone with gearhead support another 6 hours had to return again. internet provider Spectrum tried to help, but Orbi is a weak product, try to reset for hours but the modem is not able to detect the orbi is pluged in. I use my laptop and it detected right away.
Does anyone knows why the Orbi ports are not responding after power flicker and had to be replaced multiple times?

How do you not have this on a surge protector or even a half decent power supply?
If you're having that much power issues, I'd have all my expensive electronics on a backup power supply.
The first $300 router I lost due to power surges caused an immediate purchase of a UPS.
