New RBS750 (satellite) ... can't check/flash the firmware
Hi all, Having some challenges with a new RBS750 satellite to connect to a pre-existing setup of RBR750 and another RBS750. The latter 2 are on V7.2.6.31. I do not know what the new satellite...
Just closing this out for the reader.
After an hour on the call with a friendly netgear support operator, he also was unable to connect.
We ruled out the power supply.
We tried the latest Dec 25 firmware for the the router and older (working) satellite.
Still unable to get into the new satellite to flash the firmware. Connection refused
The support gent has seen this before and ruled it a defective device.
No happy ending but at least it helps validate I had tried everything myself and help received thanks to folk here. Thank you again.
Ya seems like the newer RBS is a bad unit. You'll need to get it back to place of purchase and hopefully you can find another one.
