New RBS750 (satellite) ... can't check/flash the firmware
Hi all, Having some challenges with a new RBS750 satellite to connect to a pre-existing setup of RBR750 and another RBS750. The latter 2 are on V7.2.6.31. I do not know what the new satellite...
(Yes, this process is very frustrating....)
With the PC connected only to the satellite with an Ethernet cable to one of the LAN ports
(neither the PC nor the satellite connected to anything else)
Factory Reset the satellite.
Set the PC to a static IP (as above, 192.168.10.49 is fine)
Open a web browser and enter the address 192.168.10.250
A great suggestion however no luck :(
ping 192.168.10.250
Pinging 192.168.10.250 with 32 bytes of data
Reply from 192.168.10.49: Destination host unreachable.
Reply from 192.168.10.49: Destination host unreachable.
Reply from 192.168.10.49: Destination host unreachable.
Reply from 192.168.10.49: Destination host unreachable.
and it was timed out via the browser
Appreciate the suggestion CrimpOn
(the router was turned off, so was the other good satellite ... only thing connected to the PC was the ethernet to the dud satellite.)
