And if RBS are BOTH Wireless connected is this problem seen?
How is the one RBS ethernet connected to the RBR? Directly behind the RBR or is there any kind of LAN switch or wall patch panel or jack in between them?
Is this issue seen if you turn OFF one RBS?
Will need to have someone near you help you figure out the home size in sq feet.
If your house is old and seem to block good wifi signal, this maybe a building materials issue since you seem to be seeing this accross all FW and iOS versions. Any older homes with crecrete/steel or plaster and steel mesh, will be problematic for any wifi system.
We will work on your issues in this thread. Thank you.

Thanks FURRYe38 , I appreciate your time with this one and I understand that you need to go through standard troubleshooting processes but some of these I think are red herrings. This issue with iPhones and ethernet satellites has been reported by myself and others going back at least three years so I am pretty sure it is not specific to my house. Most importantly - I and others have confirmed that switching both satellites to a wireless connection instantly resolves the problem, regardless of any other environmental factors. So I am convinced this is a long-standing Orbi bug.
However I will try and address some of your other points. The RBS ethernet is connected via a wall socket (it was professionally installed as the cable runs down the outside of my house and in through the lounge wall). However I don't believe there is any issue with this as multiple other devices are connected via this socket including gaming devices etc where any interruption in connection would be immediately noticeable.
I'll test what happens if I turn off the other RBS - although this will impact the wifi connection in my son's bedroom so I may not be able to do this immediately, I will need to wait until I have a good opportunity to try this out.
