Orbi 753S (AX4200 3-pack) or 842 (AX5700 2-pack)?
I'm looking to upgrade to an Orbi Wi-Fi 6 system, either the 753S (3-pack, AX4200) or the 842 (2-pack, AX5700), both which are sold at Costco. Roughly 45+ devices (23 @ 2.4 GHz, 14 @ 5 GHz, and 1 @ 5 GHz Wi-Fi 6), 4,500+ sq. ft. SF home (3 levels), Fios gigabit fiber; router/demarc is in the basement so that's where the router will go, and the satellite nodes will be in the main and second floors of the house. I have ethernet wired drops so will be using Ethernet backhaul.
Given my situation, will the 753S (AX4200) which is a 3-pack be sufficient for my needs or for $50 more, go up to the 852 (AX5700) but is a 2-pack? I have never used Orbi's before so looking for guidance from current Orbi users. Primary goals are (1) stability and (2) performance. Also have Circle Plus (running in compatibility mode) so compatibility with that is a must.

- I would go with the three pack. I have a there pack (853) and have a satellite on each level of the home. I feel like coverage would drop off if we didn’t have the 3rd satellite.
- You may want to skip the Costco packs with your house layout and go for the 853 AX6000. The 3 pack from Costco ax4200 will probably work for you but you lose 1200mpbs on the frontend 5ghz channel. I recommend you get the right system as performance is one of your main objectives. Both systems will be stable but the 853 will be the better choice in the long run as you introduce multiple AX devices into your network.

The two pack (852) is $700; so basically it's $300 for a satellite.
