Orbi 850 running V7.2.8.5_5.1.21 dhcp issues
Hi I recently switched my Orbi 850 back to router mode from AP mode as I have a new ISP. What i've found within a day is that the dhcp function on the Orbi 850 (+1 satellite) running V7.2.8.5_5.1...
I'm not sure that the point is being understood. I can play with signal strenght, but what you are suggesting doesn't really make sense. The issue is that the DHCP server cannot allocate addresses. This is seen through it partially negotiating and then the device defaulting to a "self assigned" 169.254 address. Wireless connectivity in AP mode, where another device is the DHCP server, doesn't have this issue.

The theory is that some of your devices might be repeatedly dropping their connection, and needlessly switching to another mesh element. And that those switches might be triggering the problem.
Obviously speculative (and perhaps unlikely), but easy to test.
