ORBI 852 Satellite I can't see it on the APP or the Browser
I installed my ORBI RBK852 Head router and the satellite (RBS850) that came with it. Both are running and I see both on the APP and on the WEB page.
I installed the second satellite (RBS850) and it turned blue and then went dark, which I believe means it was successfully installed.
I can't see the second satellite on the APP or the WEB page. So I am not sure it's actually working
I rebooted the phone and my PC. I powered the satellite down and up a few times.
Any idea why I can't see the 2nd satellite?
So, in case this helps anyone, here is what happened
I installed the head router and first satellite. Both devices updated their firmware. So, when I tried to install the second satellite, I could not. Its firmware was out of date.
So, I had to update the second satellite's firmware, and then join it to the head router, and that worked perfectly
Soooo, if you are installing a router and two satellites, I suggest that you either update all of the firmware, or none of the firmware before installing
Thanks to everyone for the help

How is the new satellite connected?
Do you hVe a device that can be wired to the satellite?

its just wireless. I powered it down and up and again got a blue light. I don't understand how it can have a good backhaul and not be connected
Are you saying hook it to something using a cable and maybe update the firmware?

The "Blue Light" is an indication that the satellite connected.
If a device can be connected to the satellite with Ethernet and works correctly (can open web pages, for example), that is another indication that the satellite connected and is working correctly.
There are many posts on the forum about satellites not appearing to be connected when they are 'wired' through switches to the router. Since this satellite is connected with the default WiFi, then those considerations do not apply.
What FW version is loaded on the RBR and RBS?
Wirelessly connected the RBS to the RBR?
Turn OFF The working RBS and work in getting the 2nd RBS connected.

Glad you got it working. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
