Orbi 960 10gb port not reading my 8gb fiber speeds. The max it will read is 5 gb down and 3700 up. I have tested it other ways using another router (eero max7) and directly out of the modem and everything else readys 7.8 down and up. Anyone else experiencing the same issue or know of a fix?
If the connection is negotiating 10 gb, then you should perhaps reach out to your ISP.
Assuming the WAN port status is showing 5 gb negotiation for the Orbi (and the Eero):
- What model is the modem (ONT)? It is possible that it might not deliver 10gb ethernet.
- Have you tried a different cable for the WAN port (at least cat 6)?
