Orbi AX Wifi 6 AC 4200 - Backhaul status
Dear all,
one question regarding backhaul satus for ax-satellites: What does "out of sync" mean? This status appears approx. every 2 hours. I only know "config sys" from my former ac-devices.
I am on latest firmware and backaul status of my both satellites is good.
Thanks for your help
I think I solved the problem by changing my setup. So far I had a RBR750 and 2 RBS750 and in one room an EX8000 repeater as an access point. On the satellite where the EX 8000 was wirelessly connected, the backhaul status was "out of synch". When I replaced the EX 8000 with a third RBS750, this message no longer appeared.
The system has been stable for three days now.
Strange, but it seems that the EX 8000 was to blame. The EX 8000 is also on the latest firmware

Be sure the RBR and RBS have same version of FW on each unit same as the RBR.
How are the RBS connected to the RBR? Wired or wireless?

All units are on same firmware, the satellites are connected wirelessly to RBR750, no daisychain.
Try a factory reset on the one RBS, remove the RBS from the RBRs web page then try a re-sync.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
